Overview
Vernox is a custom multi-warehouse management system built for a family-owned California operation that had outgrown spreadsheet-based inventory and order tracking. The system delivers QR code scanning for dispatching and receiving, real-time multi-warehouse inventory rollups, customer and product modules, order fulfillment tracking, role-based access, and email authentication — all on AWS with production monitoring. Built on React.js, Nest.js, MongoDB, and AWS, Vernox replaces Excel-based tracking and was chosen over SAP, which the client evaluated and dismissed because of a $10,000+/year minimum licensing cost on top of significant implementation overhead. The platform shipped on time with QR scanning, multi-warehouse views, and order management live from day one.
