AI Agents Development
AI agents development - custom intelligent agents that automate workflows, assist users, and integrate with your existing systems around the clock.
Ask ChatGPT for your category the way a customer would. If you're not in the answer, we audit why and fix the product data. Findable, not transactable.
Overview
Agent-Readiness makes a Shopify brand's products **show up** when shoppers ask __ChatGPT__, Gemini or Perplexity what to buy. AI assistants do not rank pages. They retrieve products from __structured feeds__ and filter on attributes, so a product whose data never says "sulphate-free" as a field is absent from the answer, not ranked low. Only 11% of retailers say they are ready to scale AI, so brands with **complete product data** win, whatever their size. The audit runs in 1–2 weeks, the build in 4–8 weeks. It makes a catalogue **findable** by AI assistants. It does not make the AI buy for your customers.

Industry Proof
11% of retailers say they are ready to scale AI
EMARKETER, 2026. The rest are competing on the same incomplete product data. Right now assistant answers are won on data completeness, which a mid-sized brand can fix faster than a large one.
ChatGPT product discovery runs on ACP feeds
Stated by OpenAI (2026). Shopify merchants are included automatically through Shopify Catalog. What the feed says about your products is what the assistant can retrieve, and nothing else.
Merchant Center now reports your missing attributes
Google added AI performance reports to Merchant Center in May 2026 that identify missing structured attributes, on the stated basis that AI shopping systems need complete, well-organised product data.
The Transformation
Workflow
The product record
Before
A typical Shopify record: title, product type, two tags, a price, and an HTML description that says the shampoo is "formulated without harsh sulphates" and "protects your colour". Sulphate-free exists only as prose, colour-treated is implied, and cruelty-free is not there at all.
After
The same product with typed fields: hair_type, concern, free_from (sulphates, silicones, parabens), key_ingredients, certifications (vegan, cruelty-free), colour_safe true, size_ml 300, and a use_case sentence: a weekly wash for someone maintaining a balayage who finds most shampoos strip tone within a month.
Workflow
The customer's question
Before
"Sulphate-free shampoo for colour-treated hair that won't strip my balayage, under £30, not tested on animals." The assistant filters on five attributes. Your record answers none of them as fields, so it never enters the candidate set. A competitor with complete data takes the slot, whichever product is better.
After
The assistant filters on free_from, hair_type, colour_safe, price and certifications, finds your product, and describes it in the customer's own terms because the use_case field already does. Three or four products are named in the answer. Yours is one of them, with a reason.
Workflow
How you know
Before
Nobody has asked the assistants for your category without your brand name. Searching your own brand proves nothing; you will show up. The category question is the one that matters, and it has never been run.
After
The same 15–25 category questions, run before the work and after it, each twice on different days. A side-by-side of where you appeared, where you appear now, and which competitors you displaced. Assistant-referred sessions tagged in your analytics. Reported at delivery and at 90 days.

Why Not
The alternative
Your SEO agency, which says it covers AI search
Their work is real. Search engines rank pages on content and authority, and that is what they optimise. But an assistant does not read your product page; it retrieves from your feed. If the feed has no free_from field, the agency's work never reaches it. Ask them what your feed says under free_from.
With LNOKS
Agent-Readiness build
The data is the same and the mechanism is different. Your SEO gets you ranked; this gets you retrieved. We put the attributes into Shopify metafields, JSON-LD and the Merchant Center and ACP feeds. The same structured attributes improve conventional search and marketplace listings too, so the work pays whichever way AI shopping goes.
The alternative
A Shopify feed app
Cheaper and faster, and it does one job well: sending your feed to destinations. It does not decide what is in the feed. Shopify merchants are usually already in ACP through Shopify Catalog at no effort, so if your attributes are missing, an app syndicates the gap to more places.
With LNOKS
Agent-Readiness build
We enrich the data before anything syndicates it. An attribute schema derived from your customers' own search terms and tickets, every value verified by a person with a source recorded, then metafields, markup and feed mapping. Where a feed app is enough, we say so and recommend it.
The alternative
Doing nothing, because it is early
The cheapest option and the real competitor. Forrester (2026) finds most AI-assisted shopping is still conversational and humans still drive checkout, so nobody is losing a purchase to an autonomous agent yet.
With LNOKS
Agent-Readiness audit
The retrieval mechanism is already live. OpenAI states ChatGPT product discovery runs on ACP feeds, and Google's Merchant Center AI reports now name the structured attributes a catalogue is missing. Only 11% of retailers say they are ready to scale AI (EMARKETER, 2026). The audit shows your gap in 1–2 weeks and you decide from there.
What You Get
The Process
Four questions on a call: how many SKUs and where the data lives, whether customers filter on real attributes, whether we can see your site-search terms and recent support tickets, and who owns your Shopify, Merchant Center and AI-platform accounts. Then the 30-second test, live.
We pull the catalogue through the Shopify Admin API or a feed export and score attribute completeness against the category taxonomy. We check whether product pages carry valid Product JSON-LD with price, availability, brand and GTIN, and whether you are already in ACP and Merchant Center.
15–25 category questions, phrased the way a customer would ask, across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Each is run twice on different days. We record position, accuracy and the competitors that appear instead of you, and screenshot everything.
A gap report ranked by how often each missing attribute matters, a prioritised fix list with effort estimates, and a one-page summary for a director. You decide whether the fix list becomes a build, or whether you do the top items yourself.
We read your site-search logs, support tickets, pre-sales chat, review text and product Q&A for the attributes people ask about. Almost no brand has looked at this data. The output is the list of questions your product data cannot currently answer.
Attribute names, types and controlled vocabularies, plus the fields that model absences: free_from, not_suitable_for, not_compatible_with. Customers specify absences constantly and almost nobody models them. A use-case field describes each product in situation language.
Each attribute is mapped to its home in Shopify (metafield or metaobject) and to its Merchant Center and ACP field. You review the schema and sign it off. Any attribute without an identifiable source is dropped or flagged as requiring one from you. The schema is locked from here.
Anything already in a PIM, ERP or supplier spec sheet maps directly and is marked as structured. Then a model proposes values from product copy, packaging images, ingredient lists and certification marks, each marked as extracted with a confidence score.
A person checks each extracted value against its source. A wrong sulphate-free tag or a missed allergen is a safety problem for the customer, so verification is a fixed part of the estimate. Regulated claims are published only where you supply a document.
One or two sentences per product in the language of the situation it solves, model-drafted and human-edited. Products where an attribute could not be established get a missing value and go on a gap list you review and accept before publishing.
Typed metafield definitions with validations, metaobjects for shared vocabularies such as certifications, and bulk loading through the Admin API. The use-case layer gets its own metafield. Nothing goes in through the admin UI by hand.
Product, Offer, AggregateRating and FAQPage markup generated from the metafields through the theme or an app block, then validated. This is the half of the catalogue that crawl-based assistants read.
Metafields mapped to Merchant Center attributes and custom labels, ACP participation confirmed, further destinations added where justified. The AI-crawler decision is put in front of you with its trade-off, documented and signed. We never set it silently.
The audit's query set, unchanged, across the same assistants. Position, accuracy and competitors displaced, side by side with the baseline. Each destination is checked: feed accepted, price and stock accurate, markup valid.
Sessions arriving from assistant surfaces are identified and tagged so they show up separately in your analytics. We can measure what you own and any first-party identity you capture. We cannot see who the assistant's user was.
The before/after report at delivery, then a second run of the query set at 90 days with the traffic figures and any drift. The 90-day report is where the quarterly re-scan conversation starts, if you want one.
Half a day per quarter inside a retainer: re-run the queries, diff against last quarter, check each destination for new required attributes, check feed health, report drift and fix it. Assistant requirements move monthly, and a stale feed degrades quietly.
Is This For You
Beauty and skincare, home and organisation, outdoor, pet, fitness accessories, tech accessories, auto parts. Your customers filter on ingredients, materials, fit, compatibility or certifications, and your product pages say those things in sentences rather than in fields. Revenue matters less than catalogue shape.
You report on organic traffic and site revenue, you brief the SEO agency, and you are the person the founder asks why category traffic is down. You have not been asked about ChatGPT yet, and you expect to be. You want to see your own gap before you spend on it.
You run Shopping campaigns or a Google and YouTube channel app, so a feed exists and someone owns it. Feed mapping is an edit rather than a build, and Google's Merchant Center AI reports already tell you which structured attributes are missing.
Product descriptions accumulated over years, ranges and copywriters. The attributes are in there somewhere, inconsistently, and nobody has mined your site-search terms or support tickets to find out which ones customers ask about. That is the work.

Frequently Asked Questions
It makes your products retrievable and correctly described when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity what to buy in your category. We audit what the assistants say today, rebuild your product data as structured attributes, publish it as Shopify metafields, JSON-LD and feeds, and measure the change. It does not make an AI buy for your customers. Forrester (2026) finds very few consumers let an agent complete a purchase, so we sell being findable, not being transactable.
Because the assistant never entered your product into its candidate set. It retrieves from structured product data and filters on attributes, so a product whose data says sulphate-free only in a paragraph of copy is invisible to a question that asks for sulphate-free. Exclusions are the most common gap, and an answer has three or four slots with no page two. A competitor with more complete data takes the slot, whichever product is better.
Three things have to be true. Your products carry the attributes shoppers ask about as structured fields, including exclusions such as free_from, rather than as sentences in a description. Those fields are published where assistants read them: Shopify metafields, JSON-LD on the product page and the Merchant Center feed. And your catalogue is in ChatGPT's product feed, which OpenAI states runs on ACP and includes Shopify merchants through Shopify Catalog. The audit shows which of the three you are missing.
Probably yes. OpenAI states that ChatGPT product discovery runs on ACP feeds and that Shopify merchants are included automatically through Shopify Catalog. We check this in the audit before charging for anything connected to it. The feed is usually already being sent. The gap is what it says about each product: if your attributes are missing, the feed delivers that absence to the assistant faster. Enrichment is where the work is.
The AI visibility audit is planned at 1–2 weeks elapsed and three days of effort: score the catalogue, run 15–25 category questions across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity twice each, then deliver the gap report and fix list. The build is planned at 4–8 weeks: taxonomy design 1–2 weeks, enrichment 2–4 weeks with every field verified by a person, publishing about a week, then verification at delivery and again at 90 days.
It fits Shopify or Shopify Plus brands with 500 or more SKUs in a category where customers filter on real attributes: ingredients, materials, fit, compatibility, certifications. It does not fit marketplace-only sellers, who do not control their product schema, or commodity catalogues where products differ only by size or colour. With under about 150 SKUs the audit alone is usually enough, and we will say so rather than sell you a build.
It is different, and the two are complementary. SEO gets pages ranked on content and authority signals. An assistant does not read your product page; it retrieves from structured product data and filters on attributes, so a feed with no free_from field cannot be found however well the page ranks. This is sometimes sold as GEO or AEO. The structured attributes we add also improve conventional search, so nothing in the build works against your SEO agency.
We run the same 15–25 category questions across the assistants before we start and after we finish, each twice on different days because assistant answers vary. The result is a side-by-side: where you appeared before, where you appear now, and which competitors you displaced. We also tag traffic arriving from assistant surfaces in your analytics. The limit: we can see what you own and any first-party identity you capture. We cannot see who the assistant's user was.
No, and nobody can. Assistant answers change from day to day and the feed protocols moved twice within six months. What we commit to is the method: the same questions before and after, screenshots of both, and a report at delivery and at 90 days. If the enrichment has not changed where you appear, the report shows that too.
You do. Shopify, Merchant Center, ACP and any model-provider accounts are in your name and named at proposal stage, because credentials held by an agency stop working when that agency does. LLM usage during enrichment runs on your account or is passed through at cost. Allowing AI crawlers in robots.txt is your decision, signed off in writing. Afterwards, a quarterly re-scan takes half a day per quarter inside a retainer, or your team maintains the data with the handover document.
